Fontself is a font creation app that allows you to easily create real vector fonts in seconds for use in Procreate or Photoshop, as well as sending personalized messages with your own handwriting on iMessage or Instagram.
The process is straightforward: simply draw your letters and enjoy typing with your custom typefaces. Fontself converts your alphabet into a font file that can be used and installed anywhere.
This app offers a range of features to enhance your font creation experience:
- Vector brushes, including Brush, Pencil, Pen, Qalam reed pen, and Marker
- Pressure-sensitive brushes (via Apple Pencil)
- Ability to export OpenType font files (.otf) for use on any Mac or Windows PC
- Real-time preview of sample texts as you draw
- Showcase your fonts with customizable layout templates, which can be viewed or shared
- Automated spacing and kerning to save time
The workflow is streamlined, allowing you to draw and generate vector fonts all within a single app. You can export your fonts directly to Procreate for use in your designs or manually upload them to platforms such as Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and more.
Additionally, Fontself enables you to send personalized text images as cool messages over popular chat and social apps like WhatsApp, Messages, Snapchat, Instagram, and Pinterest.
